It is believed that Darla Mae's case of Parvo was contracted from her new baby sister, who was adopted from a local No Kill Shelter, just days before here death. Darla fought for her life for nearly a week before the disease would prove to be to strong for her weakened body. She was a beacon of light and love, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Adopted into a loving family, Darla Mae was the adored furry child of her pet mom and dad. She was preceded in death by her sister Daisy Bell, and her brief connection with Lily Bell, who she knew for only a few days.
