Mcdonald Manos

d. September 9, 2023

She was one of four feral kittens we found in our front yard upon returning from a trip to the gator bowl and Bahamas in January 2006. Nicholas Manos named all four. He named her McDonald’s Man because that was his favorite person giving him happy meals. Her brother Wine (also a gray tabby) sister Lobster (black) and insane sister Freddie (after Kruger because she was so mean also solid black). McDonald lived in the house, but never became a tame animal companion. The safari to catch her for the vet every year became a family holiday. She was rarely any trouble and always picked a best friend from among the other indoor cats. Her brother, Wine, and sister Lobster (because Daddy loves kitties and Daddy loves wine and lobster) lived on the front porch. Lobster died a few months ago and Wine disappeared about two years ago. Freddie moved to Aiken to be a barn cat. The horses feared her and she died in 2018 McDonald shunned human contact until the last year of her life. She died quietly at home, comfortable on a towel near her favorite sunny spot after eating squeeze treats. We will miss her very much as we do her siblings. We are certain her latest best friend Johnny, shown in one of the pictures below, also misses her.

McDonald is survived by Johnny, Vincent, Pancake, Solo, and Breonna (feline); Luna and Cass (canine); Marc, Rose, Jessica, and Rebecca (two legged servants of the feline pantocrators and hunters for the canine pack.) In addition to her siblings, she was preceded in death by special friends, Frankie, Gucci, and McKenzie kitten, as well as a host of others.
