In Loving Memory of Candy
Candy, our beloved American Bulldog, passed peacefully at the age of 12 after a brave battle with cancer and arthritis. She was pure love wrapped in muscle, wrinkles, and the unshakable belief that she was absolutely a lap dog.
Candy was sweet, expressive, and fiercely protective of the people she loved. She had a way of communicating without words, her eyes always saying exactly what her heart felt. Her presence filled every room with comfort and safety, and her love was constant, steady, and unconditional.
During the lowest and darkest moments, Candy was more than a dog, she was a lifeline. She stayed when it was hard, when it hurt, and when giving up felt easier. She saved a life simply by loving it, by reminding her person every day that they were needed, seen, and never alone.
Even in her final days, when her body was tired, Candy’s heart remained strong. True to who she always was, she continued to watch over her person, making sure they were okay.
Candy leaves behind an immeasurable absence and a legacy of love that will never fade. She will forever be missed, deeply loved, and endlessly remembered. Not just as a dog, but as family, a protector, and a best friend.
Run free, sweet Can-Can. You did such a good job.
