Icarus Musso

Icarus Musso, Blue and Gold Macaw, of Majestic Wings Rescue, gained his Heavenly wings and flew across the Rainbow Bridge on November 10, 2023, at the age of 39. He was a vibrant soul who brought joy and laughter to everyone around him, and his presence will be greatly missed.

Icarus was born with an adventurous spirit, which was evident in his profound love for the outdoors. He had an unquenchable zest for life that was contagious. Those who spent time with him could not help but be swept up in his enthusiasm and feel a sense of joy. He was a true lover of nature and spent countless hours exploring the world around him. His adventures were always accompanied by his favorite food, chicken, which he savored with delight.

Known affectionally as the "Sassy Chicken", Icarus was a character in every sense of the word. He was a beacon of positivity, his infectious laughter and quick wit, captivating anyone who crossed his path. His sense of humor was legendary, and his stories, often laced with his unique brand of sass, left everyone in stitches.

In his later years, Icarus found a sense of purpose and companionship at the Majestic Wings Rescue. He spent the last six years of his life there, among his feathered friends. He became a beloved member of their community, sharing his love for life and his sassy charm with all the residents. His fellow feathered friends, who he considered his family, will miss his radiant energy and his larger-than-life personality.

His memory will continue to inspire those who knew him, reminding them to live each day with an open heart and a sense of adventure. His spirit will forever soar in the hearts of those he left behind at Majestic Wings Rescue, and he will forever be remembered as the "Sassy Chicken".
