In Loving Memory of Oscar

2011 – 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved dachshund, Oscar, who crossed the rainbow bridge at 14 years old, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Oscar was half a dog tall and a dog and a half long with a very big spirit. He found pure joy in the simplest moments—stretching out in the grass on sunny afternoons, soaking up the warmth of the world around him as if he knew those moments were magic. He loved nothing more than curling up with his mom and dad, reminding them every day that home was wherever he was.

With his short legs and carefree trot, Oscar moved through life with confidence and charm, as if he were ten feet tall. He greeted each day with curiosity, bravery, and an endless wag, making even ordinary walks feel special.

Perhaps nothing captured Oscar’s personality more than his legendary devotion to his tiny Lamb Chop toys. He didn’t just play with them—he loved them fiercely and passionately, shaking them with determination and pride, proving that even the smallest dog could have the biggest heart.

Oscar was more than a pet. He was family. He was comfort on hard days, laughter in quiet moments, and unconditional love wrapped in a long little body. His paw prints are forever pressed into the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Though our time with Oscar feels far too short, we are endlessly grateful for the 14 beautiful years we shared. He taught us how to love deeply, live fully, and appreciate every sunny patch of grass and every gentle cuddle.

Run free, sweet Oscar. Chase endless Lamb Chops, bask in eternal sunshine, and know that you will always be loved beyond measure.
