With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Leo, also known as "Papi," who left us on February 21, 2026.

Born on June 5, 2021, Papi brought immeasurable joy, laughter, and love into our lives from the very beginning.
He was deeply cherished by his human family, who adored his big personality and even bigger heart.

Papi had a daily ritual that defined his devotion: the moment his human dad walked through the door, Papi was there to greet him—no exceptions. He would proudly station himself at the entrance, demanding attention and admiration as if to say, "You're home. Now focus on me." Those greetings were never optional and always full of love.

Papi thrived in the comfort of his indoor kingdom. He ruled his domain with confidence and a touch of mischief, especially when it came to instigating his dog sisters and brothers. Whether it was a teasing glance or a perfectly timed swat, Papi knew exactly how to keep life interesting. Though he may have played the instigator, he was always part of the pack-loved and loving in his own special way.

Leo "Papi" leaves behind a home that feels a little quieter and a family whose hearts feel a little heavier. He may have been small in size, but his presence was larger than life.
