Forever loved, forever missed

Our Paris Dog was the first 'little' in the Newell household. My husband found her dumped in a field in Orangeburg on March 14, 2010. He brought her home and she became not only the smallest dog in the family, but the ruler of the four legged babies we had already (2 lab mixes, 1 cocker spaniel mix and a pit bull mix)! She was the sweetest girl. She was the keeper of the kitchen, the front and back doors, and the clock. Our Paris knew how to tell time. When it was time for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks, she would come sit in front of us and start moaning. Then a small growl. Then a bark. And whenever we left the house and came back, she would get everybody stirred up by her cute bark. Then, while they were still barking, she would walk off and go look for food. We loved that girl so much! The house is so quiet now without her, but I fully believe that she is kidney failure free and running with our Brian Dog (her bestie) and eating endless snacks. I thank God every day for giving us Paris. She was truly a gift.
