Listen to Obituary

Twinkles came into our life by a complete surprise nearly 12 years ago. She was found wandering the street near the dance studio we attended/ worked at. We had no plans to add to our family yet when animal control came, mom refused to send her. Mom saw the love that she had for everyone that met her that day and how sweet of a girl she was. Mom took her in with the idea of "fostering" her until her owner was found, without even asking Dad. Later we found out that her owner had passed and the family had let her go. The vet estimated her age to be around 4 to 6 years old at that time. Twinkles officially became part of our very loud family. We celebrated with getting her groomed with hair bows and cheeseburgers! Twinkles had many names and answered each one of them. She would answer to Mama, Twinkles, Twink, Tink or Tink-Tink, and Baby Girl.
Twinkles always greeted us with a smile on her face at the door and her tail wagging as fast as it possibly could. She always stayed by our side. She watched all 4 us grow up from toddlers/pre teens into teenagers and adults. She was always dads shadow while he gamed, messed around outside or slept.
Twinkles loved human food! She called hotdogs, cheeseburgers and steak her dinner, never eating dog food no matter how hard we tried unless it was pupperonis aka her crack. We are pretty sure her previous owner spoiled her rotten on McDonalds the way her ears would perk up as we passed by. Of course we carried on the tradition. Twinkles loved car rides, always wanting to sit up front or on the center console. She would watch ball games of Preston's, participated in Paige's photo sessions and even visited the dance studio to love on the very boys and girls who had named her after much of a vote. Twinkles was loved by every single person that met her. Twinkles never made a mess, never tore up anything well except that one bird that we watched her pluck out of the sky. We still talk about Twinkles the bird slayer, though she never did it again. She accepted 2 more family dogs Jackson aka Fat- Fat and Piper, a bird, Dobby and even a cat Scarlett without any lip. Okay maybe a little jealousy over the cat since she clung to dad so much.
Twinkles fought until the very end not wanting to leave us and us equally not wanting her to go. We will forever miss her giant smiles, the tapping of her feet, the snuggles, and the knowing that she was always there experiencing life with us.

Twinkles, Babygirl, Mama we love you so much and we hope when you crossed over that rainbow bridge there was a pile of cheeseburgers awaiting you!

Until we meet again and with Love, Robin, Valerie, Paige. Paislee, Phoebe and Preston
